L22
A blend of natural oils derived from jojoba, macadamia, and olive, designed to mimic the skin's surface lipid profile to that of a 22-year-old. Our lipid barrier is responsible for the overall recovery and maintenance of our skin's health. Think of it as an invisible wall on the surface of our skin, that protects our skin from water loss, environmental damage (such as pollution, sun, wind), and bacteria. As we age, our skin's natural oil flow slows down; leading to drier skin and deterioration of our skin's lipid barrier function. Reviving your skin's barrier back to a healthy 22-year-old barrier function, will increase moisture and hydration within the skin – plumping and smoothing fine lines, reducing redness and sensitivity, and increasing skin elasticity and firmness.
Easyliance
A blend of two natural ingredients – biopolymer and acacia gum, that when combined, have an instant smoothing and tightening effect on the skin. Once the easyliance polymer film has dried on the skin, it retracts and stretches the skin; immediately lifting the skin and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. It is due to this ingredient, that the Reverser treatment has an almost instant tightening sensation, when applied to the skin.
Quercus Suber
A plant extract that comes from the cork on an oak tree. This extract has a tightening effect on the skin, helping to soften fine lines.
Trehalose
A natural sugar extract that is derived from dried mushrooms with the aim to add and retain moisture/water within the skin, keeping your skin plump and hydrated and able to function at its best.
Calendula extract
An extract from the Calendula flower, that is potent in antioxidants to ensure the skin remains protected. Calendula flower also has mild exfoliation affects, to help brighten and lighten surface pigmentation caused from the sun, evening the skins tone.
Wakame seaweed
Derived from seaweed, this extract is rich in essential fatty acids which are needed to maintain a healthy barrier function and therefor hydration levels within the skin, keeping your skin well protected from its environment and able to function optimally. This extract is also a tyrosinase inhibitor - meaning it has the ability to balance pigment production within the skin, helping to treat and prevent pigmentation from forming.
Shea butter
Naturally high in vitamins and fatty acids, needed to nourish and protect your skin, this ingredient helps to reduce surface inflammation and redness as well as increase moisture levels to soften fine lines and wrinkles.
Joboba oil
Jojoba is a golden liquid wax that is made from the jojoba bean and naturally contains a balance of vitamins A, D and E which are known as skin healing vitamins. This oil closely resembles our own skins natural oil, allowing it to absorb deep within the skin, adding hydration to our skins deeper layers, while also having the ability to clear bacteria within the pores of the skin – helping to treat and prevent future congestion from forming, while removing dead skin cells on the surface and balancing oil production.
Sea buckthorn berry oil
This amazing oil comes from the pulp of the small, nutrient-rich, yellow-orange berries. It contains over 190 nutrients and its natural vitamin C level is 12 times higher than that of an orange! It’s high in antioxidants, as well as naturally high in vitamins E, A and C. Antioxidants will help give our skin the protection it needs to conquer free radical damage, caused by everyday life; preventing premature ageing and damage to the skin. Vitamins E, A and C will help nourish and heal the skin, reduce inflammation and redness, brighten skin tone, rejuvenate collagen and elastin production, while adding hydration and moisture to beneath the surface of our skin, helping to plump and soften.
Vitamin E
This powerful vitamin is a nutrient for the skin, neutralising free radicals, preventing premature ageing, brightening uneven skin tone and adding moisture to dry skin. Remember - free radicals within the skin cause destruction to our collagen, so to reduce this as much as possible, our skin needs antioxidants, such as Vitamin E to fight back and protect the skin against the effects of time!
Lactic acid
Produced through a fermentation process, using corn starch or beet sugar. Lactic acid is suitable for sensitive, dry skins and will gently exfoliate the skin surface - smoothing the skins texture, while strengthening redness and evening skin tone. Lactic acid has the ability to penetrate below the skins surface; helping to speed up your collagen and elastin production, while adding hydration to the skin.
Fragrance: sweet lime and blood orange oil.
