Certain ingredients such as retinol, retinoids, hydroquinone and high concentrations of salicylic acid are commonly recommended to be avoided during pregnancy. Many other ingredients including Vitamin C, niacinamide, plant-based Vitamin A, and AHA acids such as lactic acid and glycolic acid are widely used in pregnancy-safe skincare routines and help support healthy skin function. Fresh Face Skin products are safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding and have been formulated with gentle, naturally derived ingredients designed to support hydration, barrier health and calm inflammation, which can be beneficial as the skin adjusts during pregnancy.

When should I use the AHA & Enzyme Exfoliator?

The AHA & Enzyme Exfoliator is used after cleansing and before applying the rest of your routine. It is designed to clear old cell build up to soften skin texture and enhance product absorption, while brightening skin tone. It is typically used 1–2 times per week to remove surface buildup and encourage healthy skin renewal.

When should I use the Recovery Mask?

The Recovery Mask can be used between 1–7 times per week or whenever the skin feels irritated, inflamed or reactive. Apply after cleansing to clean skin. Leave on for 30 minutes as a quick skin reset mask, or leave on overnight as a sleep mask to support your skin barrier, nourish dryness and calm inflammation.

How should I use Renewal Booster and NightShield Complex in my night routine?

Both Renewal Booster and NightShield Complex are designed to support overnight skin renewal, but they work in slightly different ways. They can be used together, layered, for anti-ageing, skin brightening and skin repair support. A typical night routine is: cleanse, Barrier Mist, Hydration Booster while skin is slightly damp, treatment if needed, Renewal Booster, then NightShield Complex. You can add 1 pump of Soother and mix it with NightShield Complex if additional barrier support is needed.

Can I rotate NightShield Complex and Renewal Booster?

Yes. You can alternate these 2 night products across the week depending on your skin goals and skin needs. NightShield Complex can be used on alternate evenings to support overnight barrier repair, skin renewal, skin tone and skin texture. Renewal Booster can be used on alternate evenings to support collagen production, fine lines, skin renewal, skin tone and skin texture. Rotating treatments helps encourage healthy skin renewal while preventing the skin from becoming overwhelmed by active ingredients.

Can I use Renewal Booster and NightShield Complex together?
